Jesus Is Lord !

Fear or Faith ?  You can only have one at a time.  When fear is present, faith is not.  Without faith it is impossible for
you to rely entirely on God for anything.  This includes protection and comfort.
Jer. 29:11 says " I know the thoughts
that I think towards you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." .  God does not want any
harm to come to us.  He thinks thoughts of peace toward us.  We cause our worry, our problems, our discomfort, and
our fears, by putting our faith to the side and accepting doubt.  Jesus said, " My peace I give unto you. ".
John 14:27.
This Godly peace that he left us was sent by the Father in the form of the Holy Spirit.  Once we accept the gift of the
Holy Spirit we obtain the fruit that he brings.
Gal. 5:22 says, " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, " etc..
There, we have accepted Godly peace when we accepted him.  How then can we have fear?  Only through the power
of doubt.  Satan spreads doubt into the minds of everyone who will accept it.  Doubt is one of his most formidable
weapons.  If he can get you to receive doubt, then the door is open for him to attack you with other things, such as
fear.  Fear is, False Evidence Appearing Real. When we accept it, it is absolute proof that faith is not present.
Jesus said, " If the son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:36. Everyone who has accepted
Christ has been made free.  We are free from all harm.  Physical, mental, and spiritual.  We have nothing to fear,
nothing to worry about, or no problem to big or to small for our God to take care of.  God wants to take care of you.
He has made you a part of his family.
Rom. 8:15, " For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye
have received the spirit of adoption."  Praise God.  We have been adopted by our heavenly father.  We are his children.
Paul wrote in
Rom. 8:17, " If children then heirs, heirs of God, and joint heirs, with Christ ".   Now, I have never read
anywhere in the Bible where it said that Jesus was afraid.  He never prayed for God's protection, yet many sought to
do him harm.  Every time we get into a situation that makes us a little uncomfortable, we start praying the prayer of
doubt.  Oh Lord, let not the mischief of the devil cause us any harm.  Please!  We should not be asking God for what
we already have.  We should be thanking him.  I ask you this, which one of us would not comfort and protect a child?
Any child.  How much more then would you comfort and protect your own child.  Would you protect them with your
life?  Jesus did.  Jesus suffered tremendous persecution all his life, then he gave that life in a horrific manner of
execution, so that we could obtain God's love, mercy, grace, and protection.  When you accepted salvation, you were
saved.  Don't believe Satan's lies.  Theodore Roosevelt said, " there is nothing to fear except fear itself ".  How right he
was.  Stand firm in your faith, and you shall reap the benefits thereof.

                                                 Blessings to all,
Brother John
